It needs to be macro friendly as well, meaning that youāre putting healthy food in your body that builds muscle and keeps your energy high.
For example, when you look at Oreos, sure theyāre vegan, but theyāre not macro friendly at all:
There are 25 grams of carbs in 3 cookies, one gram of protein and 7 grams of fat.
Not worth it.
This is the same issue when looking at almond milk: if itās flavored it ends up being a bunch of calories you donāt need while being loaded with sugar.
Instead, focus on vegan food thatās higher in protein, low in carbs and low in fats.
