How To Avoid Gas & Bloating On A Raw Vegan Diet! A Beginners Guide
In this video I am answering a question from a viewer about gas and bloating as a new raw vegan. Here is the question:
“I have a question. I have been getting some bloating since going raw. Did you experience this in the beginning? How long will it last? Is there something I’m doing wrong. I hear food combos may be a bad idea. Today i mixed berries with kiwi with mango with hemp seeds, chia seeds and cocobut milk in a bowl with raw almond butter. I think I may have overdone it as i was having some digestion issues and severely bloated. I start my day with water followed by green juice. How long should i wait until eating an actual meal after my green juice? Would you mind making a video for newbie raw vegans??? I’d highly appreciate any tips. Thank you so much!”
Well I made the video! Here are 6 tips to eliminate gas and bloating on a raw vegan diet:
1:22 1) Clean the GI tract.
5:05 2) It takes time for the gut bacteria to adjust to high fiber.
6:31 3) Avoid mixing fats and fruits.
9:34 4) Take digestive enzymes.
11:19 5) Pay attention to food combining and bowel transit time.
13:10 6) FODMAP
