5 Ways Veganism Changed my Life, following a Plant-based Diet



2018 & 2019 were the most challenging years of my life. I continued to be overweight post my pregnancy, then I had an accident and broke my ankle, underwent two major surgeries, was immobilized for 6 months and finally confronted with complete loss of hope, both physically and mentally.

With an intention of taking responsibility of this dejected mental state, I chose to meet Mr. Harish Shetty, a well known dietitian of India and founder of The Aharveda Way. This is the time I got introduced to Veganism and started my research on the concept and its global impact. My perspective towards myself, people around me and the planet profoundly changed.

Today after a year of being a Vegan and choosing a plant-based and cruelty-free lifestyle, I share with you the five most effective physical, mental and emotional benefits that changed my life for the better.
