Preventing deficiencies when eating a vegan diet | Rich Roll
Rich Roll’s plant-based diet has progressed through several iterations. Initially, concerned about deficiencies, Rich relied heavily on supplements. These days he tries not to overcomplicate his diet, choosing to eat whole plant-based foods as close to their natural state as possible. He measures blood biomarkers and takes supplements as needed, particularly for vitamin B12. In this clip, Rich Roll describes the features of his vegan diet and how he avoids any micronutrient deficiencies.
