Welcome! I have a PhD in Biochemistry from Boston University School of Medicine and, today, I discuss the science surrounding meat. I stay out of the weeds. I talk about the vegan and vegetarian diet in terms of history and in terms of health. Is vegan healthy? It’s being promoted heavily. Is vegetarian healthy? Also, promoted heavily. And, where giant organizations (hint: lots of money) are not aggressively promoting plant-based diets they are usually telling you to eat less meat. What is the no-nonsense truth?
