Planted Expo, North America’s Largest Plant-Based Event, Celebrates 10th Consecutive Year – vegconomist

Planted Expo, North America’s largest plant-based event, is set to return to Vancouver this summer for its 10th consecutive year. Scheduled to take place from June 1st to June 2nd at the Vancouver Convention Centre, the expo aims to celebrate and promote plant-based living and sustainability.

With over 200 exhibitors, Planted Expo offers attendees the opportunity to explore a wide array of plant-based, vegan, and sustainable products. Among the notable exhibitors are bettermoo(d), OmniFoods, Save Da Sea, The Better Butchers, WOOP4, and Azuma Foods.

Insights from industry experts

The event will feature informative talks from leading experts in the plant-based movement on various topics, including the health benefits of plant-based diets, culinary demonstrations, and emerging trends in sustainable living.

Dr. Michael Greger, American physician and author of “How Not to Die,” will be among the speakers, alongside Doug McNish, an award-winning executive chef, and author. Other speakers include vegan bodybuilder Robert Cheeke, activist Genesis Butler, and cyclist Nick Avis.

Planted Expo’s debut fashion show

In a first for Planted Expo, attendees will have the opportunity to witness a Vegan Fashion Show highlighting the latest trends in sustainable plant-based fabrics, including plant-based silk and plant-based leather. Vikki Lenola, producer and director of The Vegan Fashion Show, will also be speaking at the event.

Tickets for Planted Expo are priced at $20 for adults, $15 for youth and seniors, with free admission for children under 12. Attendees can purchase tickets online or at the door.
