The EVERY Co. and Landish Unveil FERMY Functional Coffee & Latte Mixes with Fermented Egg Proteins – vegconomist

US biotech The EVERY Co. announces it has partnered with Canada’s Landish Foods, a nutritional wellness products leader in North America, to launch FERMY, a new line of ready-to-mix protein powders for beverages featuring its precision fermentation-derived egg white protein.

The new products under the new brand FERMY — Protein Coffee Enhancer and Protein Matcha Latte — offer 8 grams of digestible egg protein, as well as other brain-boosting ingredients such as MCT oil and lion’s mane mushroom. The products cater to consumers looking to maintain health-focused lifestyles with products that integrate seamlessly into their morning routines without sacrificing taste or convenience.

LANDISH is a Montreal-based company specializing in innovative food and supplement products to enhance daily wellness. Its product range includes adaptogenic latte and greens blends, vegan DHA omega-3 soft gels, and marine collagen gummies. Under its new brand, FERMY, it focuses on sourcing proteins from plants, by-products, insects, and precision fermentation.

Founded in 2014 in Daly City, California, by Arturo Elizondo and backed by major investors like AB InBev and Anna Hathaway, The EVERY Co. has developed a scalable yeast fermentation platform to decouple proteins from animals. Its portfolio of FDA-approved ingredients includes the EVERY EggWhite, the EVERY ClearEgg, animal-free pepsin, and its award-winning EVERY Egg, the world’s first chickenless egg.

According to the company, its proteins offer a clean taste and boost nutrition without sacrificing flavor or texture. They can be used in multiple F&B applications, including pressed juices, macarons, plant-based meat, coffee, baked goods, and alcoholic beverages.

The FERMY launch follows EVERY’s successful collaborations on protein-fortified beverages and a recent collaboration with The Vegetarian Butcher to enhance its plant-based meat alternatives’ texture and nutritional profile using EVERY EggWhite.
