Here are 5 anti-inflammatory, vegan and gut friendly recipes for you to try at home! All the recipes I’ve included are easy, simple and quick meal ideas for your and your plant based buddies!
Here are the recipe ingredients lists:
Overnight Gut-Friendly Oats
100g oats
300ml oat milk
100g vegan yogurt (with cultures)
40g walnuts
40g dates, pitted and roughly chopped
To serve:
60g chopped blueberries
1 tsp Raw Hazelnut butter
Anti-inflammatory Turmeric Tonic
1 cup (150g) mixed raw almonds and cashews (soak overnight)
4 teaspoons grated fresh turmeric (or 2 teaspoons ground turmeric)
2 teaspoon grated fresh ginger (or 1–2 teaspoons ground ginger)
3 dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 cups (13⁄4 pints) filtered water
1⁄4 teaspoon sea salt
pinch black pepper
Healthy Vegan Breakfast Tacos
240g raw walnuts, chopped into small pieces
2 Vine tomatoes, diced
1 Onion, finely diced
2-4 handfuls of spinach
50g mushrooms finely diced
1⁄2 tsp sea salt
1⁄2 tbsp smoked paprika
1⁄2 tbsp ground cumin
1/2tsp ground coriander
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp Kimchi, to top
1/4 cup lentil sprouts, to top
(Optional) Chipotle sauce to season
2-4 Crosta & Mollica Piadinas
Drizzle of Extra virgin olive oil
Gut Friendly Chocolate Smoothie Bowl
1 banana (frozen or fresh)
1 cup (250ml) of any milk
2 tbsp cocoa powder
2 tbsp vegan yoghurt (with cultures)
4 ice cubes
Sprinkle of sugar free/low sugar granola
Sprinkle of cacao nibs to top
Naturya Superberries Mix, to top
1 tsp Raw hazelnut butter, to top
Gut friendly Loaded Avo Toast
1 Slice of Organic sunflower seed Rye Bread
1/2 Avocado, mashed
2 tbsp Kimchi
1/2 block of tofu (75g)
2 Vine Tomatoes, diced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp Turmeric
Salt & pepper to season
