ℹ️ With the ingredients listed in the recipe you get about 12 delicious patties.

🥣 Ingredients:
4oz | 120g | 1/2 cup green lentils
1 onion
1oz | 20g fresh parsley
1 garlic clove
30ml | 1tbsp lemon juice
2 seaweed sheets (sushi nori)
2oz | 60g | 1/4 cup quinoa
1tbsp psyllium husk
1tsp mild carry powder
black pepper
salt to taste
a little oil for frying

🥣 Sauce ingredients:
4tbsp plant-based mayonnaise
3-5 small gherkins
1tbsp chopped parsley
1tbsp lemon juice
black pepper

🧑‍🍳Cooking tips:
❗Feel free to add your favourite herbs and spices to the recipe to get your favourite flavour.
❗You can substitute psyllium husk for chia seeds or flax seeds.

🥣 Method:
Soak 4oz | 120g | 1/2 cup green lentils for 8 hours.
Place in to the food processor:
rinsed and drained soaked lentils
1 onion cut into quarters.
1oz | 20g fresh parsley.
1 garlic clove.
30ml | 1tbsp lemon juice.
2 seaweed sheets (sushi nori).
Blend until mostly smooth.
Cook 2oz | 60g | 1/4 cup quinoa (simmer for about 15 minutes).
To make the sauce mix 4tbsp plant-based mayonnaise, 3-5 chopped small gherkins, 1tbsp chopped parsley, 1tbsp lemon juice and black pepper.
Add cooked quinoa to the lentils mixture.
Add 1tbsp psyllium husk.
ℹ️ You can substitute psyllium husk for chia seeds or flax seeds.
Season with 1tsp mild carry powder, black pepper and salt to taste.
Shape into patties. Each patty should be about 2oz | 60-70g.
ℹ️ You will get about 12 patties.
Heat a little oil in a non stick pan.
Fry lentil patties for about 5-7 minutes.
Flip patties over and add 3tbsp water.
Cover with a lid and cook over medium heat for about 7-10 minutes.
Top with the sauce and enjoy these delicious lentil patties!
