For Teenage Vegans on The Go



Recently my fifteen year old daughter became a vegan, and as delighted as I was, I also became aware of the challenges she faces on a daily basis. Being socially active and on the go, my daughter does not always eat enough or eat healthy. To make things more difficult she’s on a budget and many of her friends are not vegan. So what to do? The answer is simple: bananas and steamed rice. They are easy to get. They will fill you up, give you plenty of energy and they’re affordable, the ultimate fast foods.
