For a 32-oz smoothie that serves 2 people use 2 cups of liquid.
Choose one liquid or a combo of liquids depending on your other ingredients.
*If your blend contains high-water-content foods like melon, cucumber or oranges you may need little or no liquid.

My go-to liquids – 1 to 2 cups

filtered water
coconut water
milks – almond, coconut, cashew, hemp
juices – fresh apple, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, cranberry
teas: green, black, white, rooibos, peppermint, chamomile, lemon
kefir or kombucha
