Vegan Food Haul (High-Raw, High-Carb ) + How Much Do We Spend On Groceries?

You can definitely be plant-based on a budget, but since becoming high-raw, high-carb, organic vegans, our grocery bill has definitely increased. That being said, there are a number of lifestyle habits that have shifted for us in order to make “food as medicine” our priority. Take inventory and ask yourself, “what are some areas I might be able to cut costs that aren’t serving me?” For example, we dramatically reduced our electric bill by installing a Nest thermostat, we cancelled our cable because we prefer to be active instead of watching tv, we shop less for frivolous things we don’t need, and we don’t have medical bills or prescriptions to pay for! All of that being said, this is what WE choose to spend our hard-earned money on because it gives us the best possible quality of life! We hope this inspires, encourages, and empowers you to find your own way of living your best life through a whole foods, plant-based diet and lifestyle!
