In this episode of city hacks London we catch up with up and coming British actress Bel Powley. Bel ones again confirms that she is a very funny lady while we travel through London going to her favourite vegetarian restaurants. We start at Mildreds on Lexington Street in Soho. The nearest tube station is Piccadilly Circus on the Piccadilly line. Here we talk about Bel’s upcoming film in which she plays Princess Margaret. A Royal Night Out also stars Sarah Gadon as Princess Elizabeth, Emily Watson as Queen Elizabeth, Rupert Everett as King George VI & Jack Reynor as Jack. Set on VE day this comedy-drama focuses on a crazy night out had by the princesses in 1945. Bel & Syrus then go to Bel’s favourite London vegan cafe Vantra. Vanta is on Oxford Street with the nearest London underground station being Tottenham Court Road on the Central line & Northern line. Bel who has also starred in ITV Benidorm as Bianca Dyke & the CBBC television series M.I High as Daisy Millar then takes me for a vegan dessert at The Wild Food Cafe in Neal’s Yard in Covent Garden. Nearest tube is Covent Garden on the Piccadilly line. Here we talk about the upcoming release of The Diary of a Teenage Girl in which Bel plays Minnie Goetze. The film premiered at the 2015 Sundance Film Festival. The film also stars Kristen Wiig playing Charlotte Worthington, Alexander Skarsgård playing Monroe, Christopher Meloni playing Pascal MacCorkill, Austin Lyon playing Ricky Wasserman.
