Vegans and why I don't beat them up

Shorts are pretty short. So there is much more that can and should be said about all this. For instance, I find it very hard to push veganism from a biblical perspective when eating meat is not only permitted but actually commanded on occasion. It’s one thing to rightly recognize that God permits things in the Bible that are far from ideal (divorce is an example) but it’s another to say that something He explicitly makes the centerpiece of important events, like consuming meat at Passover, is inherently immoral. Again, more can be said about this but I think veganism as a choice is completely up to you but as a rule it seems to conflict with some plain teachings of Scripture.
