In today’s video I trial the INIKA Organic Day 2 Night Palette and we chat your questions submitted via my Instagram stories.
You’ll note that I have featured Wet n Wild products, but I no longer recommend this brand. Earlier this year, they were found to be selling their products in department stores in Mainland China. I have listed items you can purchase INSTEAD of the Wet n Wild products that I’ve featured in this video.
Q. Why is this bad? How are they no longer cruelty-free?
A. Because they’re knowingly allowing their finished products to undergo post-market testing on animals, in a certain country, despite multiple emails confirming they did not have any partners in China.
They’ve also proudly stated on their cosmetics that they’re cruelty-free, for many years and have kept their overseas policies hidden, until earlier this year when ‘Cruelty-Free Kitty’ exposed them and published photos of their products on shelves in Watsons (large department store in China). This is a very deceitful thing for a massive company to do.
