Veganism is a white, colonial, modern movement?
Wrong, wrong, wrong.

The argument that veganism is a colonising movement is something we hear far too often and it’s often used to ignore positive arguments regarding this non-violent way of life. But this doesn’t mean our movement is perfect, far from it… Vegans come in all sizes, shapes and forms, we often simply reflect the public. That’s how mainstream this movement has become! We acknowledge that we, just like the public, have a ways to go in terms of creating a truly decolonial movement. But the values within veganism are unshakeable. Let’s focus on the values, rather than the individual.
