Whole Foods Co-Founder Announces Launch of Virtual Medical Care Platform, Love.Life TeleHealth

Health and Wellness company Love.Life today announced its acquisition of the (US) nationwide telemedicine service, Plant Based TeleHealth Inc.

The acquisition sees two companies come together to offer patients access to mission-aligned doctors experienced in offering solutions closely linked to a plant-based diet and vegan lifestyle.

John Mackey, co-founder of Love.Life and former Whole Foods Co-founder said: “Love.Life is about making lasting health and vitality achievable, and acquiring PlantBased TeleHealth accelerates our ability to help more people without geographic limitations.”

Love.Life offers an integrated health and wellness solution that utilises nourishing food, holistic medical care, and precision wellness therapies.

Newly branded Love.Life TeleHealth (formally Plant Based TeleHealth) focuses on lifestyle medicine to help prevent and cure chronic diseases. The acquisition helps both companies to accelerate their mission and remove current geographic limitations with its new telemedicine offering.

Patients can now sign up for 30 and 60-minute appointments using the online portal with licensed physicians across all US states.

“PlantBased TeleHealth and Love.Life are both mission-based companies, and we’re thrilled to be part of an integrated health solution that aspires to move beyond medical care that simply treats symptoms and manages disease with medications,” said former Plant Based TeleHealth CEO and co-founder Anthony Masiello who has now joined the executive leadership team of Love.Life.
